2402volume.jpgThis is 3D printer from Z-Corp i read about 5 years ago (or even more). This page has good video which demonstrate “printing” process. Partially but the whole process takes about 20 mins. Prints layer by layer in special powder than glued by special glue (everyting is special).

Dont miss other videos, people who had chance to put their hands on the printer having fun 🙂

2402hdmi.jpgDiscussion theme – why HDMI input doesn’t exists on any kind of recording devices ? There are HDMI output but not input. Inputs are exists only on TV or splitters. Here in this article you will find explanation (exactly what you thinking) – copy protection of high quality digital context. HDCP – High-Definition Copy Protection. So far there are only one way to copy/duplicate – thru the PC but you will be need PC card with HDMI input (once again) – is there any ?

Designer Mac Funamizu dreams about such device “All in one” to have everything like scanner, photo camera, google map, touchscreen etc…2402conc.jpg

No doubt idea is wonderfull. No doubt (imo) this concept will partially implemented sometime/somewhere in industry. Theoretically, implementation is possible right now (well, size will be bigger and good to have GPS).
Btw, check the designer’s blog – there are many other interested ideas as well.

ImageSorter – interesting and simple program (interface is simple as well). What does it do – sort the pictures. What is so special – it sorts by colors. In some cases very useful feature.
